Years ago, I had a nice collection of VHS on various railroads, including the Milwaukee Road during the times the F7 Hiawatha Hudson ran. I can find video clips on-line but that's not the same effect as the big screen. I don't remember who made them, nor if they're available in DVD. I am guessing they were never re-mastered into HD, if that's even possible.

Anyone know of a good supplier of old-time railroad action in DVD format?

Thanks, all.

I had quite a few of the Herron VHS' tapes, but sold them all years ago thinking I'd get them on DVD someday, but I never did. Same with Allen Keller John Armstrong video, a true classic in the realm of Frank Ellison, and now its impossible to find on the secondary market. I have to wonder how much of history is lost due to lack of transfer from one format to another, and as we get caught-up in the instant-gratification age of YouTube and Facebook videos.
