Any company make and sell DVD's of the Milwaukee Road and other RR's glory days?

Pentrex has a few. Most older format content has been transferred, not lost. 

My buddy Greg Scholl has a lot of videos about vintage subjects, steam and diesel.

Here are some other railroad video sources:

A Google search will bring up a ton of videos, but like Rich suggested, try Train Video Depot first. Lots of Milwaukee Road videos there.

There are 2 catalog companies that sell DVDs as well as a lot of railroad themed objects and there is a company in New Hampshire that creates DVDs of railroads all around the country. Unfortunately, at my age forgetfulness has crept in and I don't remember their names now that I am writing this message.

I had quite a few of the Herron VHS' tapes, but sold them all years ago thinking I'd get them on DVD someday, but I never did. Same with Allen Keller John Armstrong video, a true classic in the realm of Frank Ellison, and now its impossible to find on the secondary market. I have to wonder how much of history is lost due to lack of transfer from one format to another, and as we get caught-up in the instant-gratification age of YouTube and Facebook videos.

Unfortunately, not all VHS tapes are transferable to DVDs. I had contacted a couple of companies that had produced musical VHS tapes about issuing DVDs and they responded with the comment that the quality of the master tapes was not good enough to make acceptable DVDs.
