Any don't miss hobby shops in the Harrisburg, York, Lancaster area?

There is a very nice train store in downtown York on the main street. Look in that store as I remember it having good selectio nof MTH trains.

Barry's Train Shop, in Elizabethtown about 40 minutes from York, full service Lionel dealer and a great selection with great prices. Even though he is closed during York but you can buy from him in the Purple Hall great dealer and is extremely customer friendly. Hope this helps.

Cool Trains in Salunga (outside of Lancaster) is another good one. Between Cool Trains and Barry's (Elizabethtown), we wouldn't need any more train stores. But there are more... I am also a fan of Strasburg Station in the Rockvale Outlets.

If you get close to Strasburg, of course, there are all kinds of attractions. Sadly, the Choo Choo Barn is closed through March 9, and the National Toy Train Museum is closed through March. However, you could go to the Toy Train Reference Library, but call ahead (717-687-8976) first to make sure they have someone staffing it today. And the Railroad Museum of PA is excellent.

That would be B&E Junction.  More trains than you can shake a stick at.  Very heavy into MTH stuff.

The train store next to the Choo-Choo Barn in Strasburg has a large selection of O and S Arttista figures, as well as a large selection of track systems. I have also bought scenic items and supplies there as well.

Stopped at B & E Junction and talked with Steve at length.  Great guy, incredible store!

The Station located on Ninth Street in New Cumberland. Great people with a great selection of trains! Pretty good prices too!

The Station is literally an old Reading Railroad station that was moved and rebuilt where it stands today in New Cumberland. Check it out!
