Attending convention as I write this. Having a great time on the tours and trying to meet as many TCA Members that I can without being too forward. 

Tours are outstanding with more to come.All of the volunteers are doing a fantastic job

If your not here you missed a good one. 

I had a great time with my 14 year old son, Wyatt.

We came up on Thursday night via Amtrak.

Friday, we did the 8am Circle Line Tour,  a tour bus from the hotel to the dock, a boat trip all the way around Manhattan, bus ride to lunch at Bens Deli, bus to the Natural History museum and a bus back to the hotel. Friday night we did the layout tours: tour bus to Ron Zweig's home layout and to New Jersey Hi-Railers and back to the hotel...got in around Midnight.

Saturday we slept in, checked out the trading pits, and enjoyed the Modular layouts, Raritan Valley Hi Railers were awesome. Saturday night was the Banquet, I won a Banquet car, and sat with some fellow National Capital Trackers. The banquet is always fun.

Sunday we took NJ Transit to Penn Station and a Subway over to Citi-Field, and saw a Mets Reds double header. Then we took the subway back to Penn Station and got the 7pm Acela back to Baltimore.

We had a great time, prices were very reasonable on the hotel (came away with a free Lionel Trolley) and the tours, attendance seemed good, food was great (NY Bagels are the best), hospitality was great, there lots of great tours to choose from.

i am seriously considering the TCA Convention in Houston next year...never been to Texas.

I can tell you 2 had a great time.I have had people say some people can light up the room with a smile.Seeing you 2 smile I now know thats not an old wifes tail.
