I have a DC engine with the DC voltage going to my fixed Chanel on my TIU. I had been working fine with my WIU and my iPad and phone. I put another engine on the 3 rail track and it seemed to have the same address. I deleted the diesel and took the 3 rail engine off the track.  Now the DC diesel won’t add when I try to add the engine? It works in DC but not DCS now the DC transformer I am using is only putting out about 13V.  Do I need more power?  Any ideas?  Thanks.

I would try Ben's idea of another TIU channel.

It maybe the transformer but have you tried resetting the engine first?

I don't have any HO but sometimes any of them get scrambled. I can only guess that you may be able to reset an HO engine like others first?

I also had a case where the remote wouldn't find an engine yet the app would. It was a while back and I forget the cure now? Something tells me it was a cross between a battery problem and also the software?

I seem to remember the issue not occurring with DCS 6.1. You are up to date on the remote's software version? Have you tried tethering the remote?

Is the TIU that you are adding at TIU address #1?
