I am looking to add a second level to my 4'x8' layout and need someone to cut the plywood "roadbed" for me. I am in a wheelchair and live in an apartment so this is not something I can take on myself without a bunch of issues and concerns. I will be using 031 track (RMT/K-line SuperSnap track) and will just be adding a basic oval to the upper level. I have some straight sections that were cut for me but I need to measure the width of the track and the boards since I was originally going to use 027 track. If they can be used all I will need is the 4 sections (1/4 circle) cut and shipped. Maybe even cut into 8 sections (1/8 circle) if easier. I will send money in advance to cover material, labor and time, and shipping based on quote.

I am by no means wealthy and even well off so going out and purchasing a ready made manufactured bridge system is not an option for me, although I can dream right?

So if you are interested in an afternoon or 2 project to help me out and put a few bucks in your pocket shoot me an email with an idea of the cost. If it something I can handle then hopfully we can work something out.

Thanks!

Ken

Malcolm.....I don't know what to say. Folks on the OGR forum are allways so willing to step up and help fellow members out when needed. Anytime I need to be reminded that there still are alot of good people in the world all I have to do is spend some time here. There is such a sharing of skills, resources, talent, and knowledge. Not sure where you got the name 'Brother Love" but it fits and I have seen you show it many times in here.

I thank you for your offer and will take you up on it but I insist on paying the shipping and I also give you my word that I will pay it forward. The 3/8" material is fine and ironically that is the same thickness as the previous 027 curves cut from.

I will email you off line. Let me know what the next step is and we will go from there.

Again...."Thank You"!
