I have about 250 of them under my O gauge tubular track. I also have about 300 of the Moondog ties that are no longer made. The Moondog ties seem to make it a little quieter, but the noise difference between the two is hard to notice. The ties in the link are hollow underneath and the simulated tie plates do hold them in position under the rails. The Moondog ties did not have this feature and will move out of position. I have a sub roadbed of felt insulation and 4 of these ties between each metal tie. They do a good job IMO.

I have these with my O-27 track and they look great! Highly recommend them.
They work well when you screw the track down over them. They have the slots that hold them in place. Glad you posted it reminds me I have to order more.
I have the Moondog ties but I wish I had the ones asked about on this topic.
