does anyone have insight as whether or not Lionel and Die cast Direct will be attending the April show? Curious.

Lionel has already said they will NOT attend the April York but will be there in the fall.
Diecast Direct does not have a booth under its own name. I think a few people working for them sell their products at York. I noticed at the October meet there were far fewer American Excellence cars, and more of the less expensive brands (but very nice looking, none the less). Although I've bought a fair amount of cars around $80. each from them, I'm sure they realized that they were a bit "rich" for most of the train folk (compared to people that just collect 1:43 models). I have no idea who to ask if they are coming to York in April. In the past you were able to contact Diecast Direct and ask them to bring a certain model with them to York for you to buy. You might want to contact them.

Unless there is a schedule conflict like there was in April last year, I would expect the vendor for Diecast Direct to be there.
