I just know I saw an article in a more recent magazine (like TCA quarterly or Classic Toy Trains or OGR that referenced what I thought was a Model Builder article with plans for a Pennsylvania Railroad O-1 electric, driven with a standard gauge Super Motor - anyone recall the article (or the issue of the original Lionel/Model Builder magazine?).

I'm thinking that the home made loco I picked up recently that was a crazy remnant from the movie 'John Goldfarb Please Come Home' might have been made from that article. (Engine was purportedly owned and run by an Arab played by Peter Ustinov made of 'solid gold'.  This is the one that had sparks and flames coming out of it. One side of the paint is still dark from the escapade.

Thanks

Jim

I'm with you Dennis. Lots of projects stacked up, need to pick a couple and finish before starting more new ones

i have a guy making me a PRR K4/L1 boiler in STD. Will be scale proportioned but have to consider the scale in order to look right with drive wheels that are available

Jim, I can't wait to see that one!  Please post once you get the boiler in hand!
