So, I have had the Athearn NS 911 on pre-order for a little while now, and was wondering if there is a set shipping date. Trainworld has 12/30/18 listed, but Horizon Hobby and Athearn have Early Sept. listed. The problem is, I pre-ordered the unit from Trainworld and hope that it will not take another 4 months. I know I'm being a little impatient, but I would just like to know a set date.

I would thin the Trainworld date is just a generic placeholder. If the manufacturer says early September, that would be the date I'd go with. I doubt Trainworld would get them four months after they hit the street, there would be no interest in them at that point and why would Trainworld bother if every other dealer had been selling them for four months.
