I am just curious what happened to 1) Gandy Dancer's in Chamblee and 2) Southeastern Hobby Depot on Peachtree...between Buckhead and Chamblee. I had fond memories of both. Of course currently Legacy Station makes up for both of them 100 times over but I am still wondering what happened to the others.

Well, apparently no one knows what happened to the two train shops
that you asked about. I just know that i'm glad that we have Legacy Station.
It's a great place to go train shopping.
I agree. But the other places were fun. I think Drew Tuggle owned Gandy Dancers. It was in an old house. Jonathan Lathbury is in ATL and he is one of the finest Lionel service stations around. He can repair anything and find any part. Super nice guy.
Is Tom White still around? Is he still in Buford, Ga.?
Has anyone done business with him?
I believe Jonathan Lathbury started out working for Tom White at Olde House Hobbies on Peachtree Rd. back in the 70's.
Jonathan is a great guy.
