Hey all

I am looking to add a switch between two closely parallel rows of O scale track for my subway layout. I know the highspeed turnout is a long set of track while the other is shorter. But is their any pros and cons between the two? The thing I like about the highspeed is that their is less curvature so trains don't stick out as much. Let me know what u think.

Thanks

if you have two parallel tracks and are doing a crossover from one track to the other, the highspeed would be better since the highspeed turnout avoids the s-curve you would get using two o-54 switches, an s-curve could cause a detrailment

(you might want to consider the #5 switch instead of the #7.5 if space is an issue)

the NJ Hirailers use the highspeed atlas switch on their subway line.
trainstock IV is comming soon Big Grin
