I have the MTH with the shiny chrome finish and near gloss (more of a glossy satin) Warbonnet finish in premier released 8 or so years ago.
This is one of the only paint schemes I really like the shiny finish, most RR paint schemes except the warbonnet looks better to me in the flat paint finish.
Atlas O typical attention to details should yield a great addition to the warbonnet community.......... looking forward to seeing them!

Hi there Jim, there is a powered A and two powered B units. I plan on pulling stumps out of the yard 
Actually I don't have cars now that will match the Santa Fe and my max is 18 inch cars so that leaves out the Atlas option - which is unfortunate. Maybe I'll have it be a stand in for duty with the Amtrak ABBA and pull my 18 car Superliner consist.

Atlas would like to thank everyone that ordered one of our F7 locomotives. We had enough orders to make the production run before we extended the deadline with the tooling upgrades, but we were stunned by how many additional orders we’ve received.
My thank you message was going to include that we had locked down the orders and if you were still on the fence now would be a good time to make a decision as we would be operating strictly off of the cushion that was ordered for each road. Guess what, the orders continue to arrive so the boss has decided to celebrate “Memorial Day” by continuing to leave the orders open through May 26th when we really will close out the order cycle.
Hey I ordered mine being the huge Santa Fe fan that I am, 5 to be exact as I don’t do dummies. I’ll be the only dummy in my MU’d F7 locomotives and proud of that fact as one body will be switched with an extra powered unit purchased to give me an all powered ABBA set. Now I know that’s more information than most of you want or needed to know, but I just wanted everyone to know I’m just as excited over these as most of you are and again I/we say thank you!

Today Atlas O announced some tooling updates for their Master Line F-7 diesels:
In addition, they reconfirmed chrome plating will be used on the side panels of the Santa Fe Warbonnet F7 to reflect the polished stainless steel of the prototype.
Atlas O is taking pre-orders through Monday 5/18 and we are still offering our pre-order pricing of $419.96 powered and $189.96 unpowered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Milwaukee Road F7's should also come with passenger pilots.
It has been a while since we sent out any updates on the F7 project. We just received some samples of the new fuel tank and "passenger pilot" tooling from the factory and though we should share some photos. Note that the F3 shown here is from an earlier run. It was equipped with the bare-metal parts for testing purposes only.

And those are the F3's that I am patiently waiting for you to paint in the PRR freight scheme! Your F3's are the ONLY one that has the original small numberboard/marker light combo on the nose. All other mfg's/importers made their f3's with the optional large numberboard and separate marker. PLEASE make that F3for the PRR!

First thank you for the compliment of my wife Patricia Kimble as she is a swell person to deal with even off the job.
In answering your question on whether we'll be able to ink a deal to have all the features of Lionel's Legacy system I would say probably not. Lionel has been great partners in sharing their technology with us in that we have more speed steps in the cruise control circuitry, the diesel prime mover sound is more refined and crew talk is crystal clear with more subject lines and of course everything remains backward compatible with TMCC. So we're not missing a whole bunch other than some of the built in sound capability that a Lionel Legacy engine would have. If you haven't sampled one of our newer offered locomotives you need to do so as I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how well they run especially at slow speeds. We've also enhanced the ability of you being able to maintain our locomotives by incorporating a hidden lube port on the bottom of the trucks on all our Trainman and Master-line offerings to ease lubricating the worm gears after 50 hours of use.
