As noted in a different thread, my Lionel 45 crossing is a rough ride for small engines. Is the Atlas version smoother, better? Anybody run an-0-4-0 engine over one?
Thanks for all advice. They seem readily available, but unless there is a noticeable difference in performance, I'm not inclined to buy one. If the rough ride from the Lionel is just due to loss of power in the middle, then I would expect the Atlas to have similar power loss, unless the plastic rail sections in the interior are shorter than the Lionel.
