@AtlasEric Can you give us an update on when the P42s, Amfleets, Horizon cars and other things from last year's winter catalog might start to be put on the water?? Thanks for any updates!

Nick,

Best plan is to follow here, it is updated as we get information from the factories.  The electronic component supply issues have locomotive delivery a little up in the air, they could move in either direction depending upon if components become available.  We have asked the factory to keep the P42 and Amfleet production close to each other.

They look good. I'm surprised, though, that it took this long for them to come out with these. If I recall correctly, the TTX auto-rack is based on the 89-foot flat car.

Matt,

The Multimax is not based on the 89' flat car tooling.  While the earlier covered racks were mounted on 89' flat cars, I am not sure our 89' flat could be used for that as 1) I don't think the tooling was designed for it and 2) many of the racks were placed on flats with lower decks.

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking in terms of the early 89-foot open auto carriers produced bt TTX.

@Paul Graf Yeap! I check the site most every weekday for shipping updates. Thanks for the great info, I'm assuming that's also true for the Horizon cars? Been waiting on these for years and can't wait to have them in hand!

Horizon cars are currently scheduled to ship from China in October (with the way the container shipments have been lately, it will probably be November before they get on a ship).

Thanks for the updates Paul

IMO Atlas O master line rolling stock is by far the best readily available rolling stock in the o gauge hobby.

I see these Multi Max car carriers are scheduled for 3rd quarter 2022 on the Atlas website. I realize this may need to be updated

Do you have any updates on the production schedule of these models?
