I have an Atlas F-3 B unit from 2006 that runs poorly at low speeds. At higher speeds it seems to be okay. The engine appears to have very little run time on it. With the shell off I can see that the front motor is not keeping up with the other motor that has the tach on it. I disconnected the motor from the truck and replaced the grease. The grease was not really hard. I put new grease on the gears and they look fine. Looking for ideas. Bad motor? Motor driver?

How many components connect the motor to the control board.
Could there be a loose wiring problem?

I concur. I had one that would do the same that I exhaustively took apart to try and track it down, and it still ran jerky until I ran it a lot and the electrical conductivity improved. Runs well now.
