I have been trying for 2 days to reach the Atlas O website and I keep getting message that it can't be found.    I originally used my stored favorite link.   Then I just did a gogogle search and tried the links it found for Atlas model trains.    I wanted to search for some parts

Does anyone know if the website is just down, or closed or what is happening?

It is the website described by Rich that I am trying to get to.     We have 3 computers in the house and all have Widnows 10 and all supposedly up to date.    And each one has some different behavior when accessing the internet and some other things.    Whatever happened to interchangeable parts?

99.9% of the time, issues like this have nothing to do with computer hardware.  You could have three different copies of the same hardware, all packed with the same software, and run into a problem like this.  Something as simple as bumping the machine while in operation or a slight power fluctuation can cause unintended software changes (settings, corruption, you name it) producing the result you experienced.  Best thing to do is reinstall the software on the "buggy" hardware and see if the problem resolves.

That's your problem. Windoze 10.

Seriously, clear the cache and cookies in your browsers (all of them) and try again. It is likely a corrupted cookie doing this.

All my business PCs run Windows 7 Pro and I will never update them to Windoze 10. Far too many privacy and security issues with Win 10. If I get to the point where certain things no longer work in Win 7, I'll just dump all the PCs and start using my MAC Pro for everything. Currently I only use the MAC for video editing in Final Cut Pro X, but it is MUCH easier to use and more infinitely more secure than Windoze 10.

An example of the MAC ease of use...I have multiple terabytes of video files stored on about a dozen Western Digital Red hard drives. If I need to change hard drives to access video files for a client that are not currently mounted, it takes me about two minutes to shut down, swap out a hard drive and reboot the MAC. Try that with a PC.
