Don't know if this helps but on my Atlas signals I use a DPDT switch, center off.
I have run yellow/red to the YIN/RIN poles...
Center off is automatically green.
I don't know how to translate that into your scheme but I know Steve Horvath at Atlas can help. He helped me. And I need a lot of help.

If you're using the signal as a stand-alone signal, according to pages 13-15 of the user manual, the jumper plug must be installed across the JP1 pins, (see page 15).

Otherwise, I recommend contacting either Atlas or Custom Signals Customer Service before the LED becomes a zero aspect signal.

I'm using a number of Atlas's SA signals. If I only have the 12V ps connected to the P and C connections on the SCB the targets are green.

In a basic configuration the signal turns red with an input trigger to DIN but should revert to yellow momentarily and then back to green when that input is terminated.

being totally non electrically oriented, I only know the the signal defaults to green...don't know if that helps.
If you just applied power only, it will show green.
