The San Leandro Historical Railway Society will be hosting its annual Independence Day train show this coming Saturday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a chance to see the G&O garden railroad in action. The G&O is the only public garden railroad in the SF Bay Area. You will also see the club's impressive HO display that depicts the SP route from Oakland to Sparks.
This is a fun show because our displays are decorated in a patriotic theme.
