HI Everyone,

I thought I would take a second and post a couple of pictures of my new Eastern US Mountain backdrops from Backdrop Warehouse.  The scene is made up of 2 panels each measuring 10' x 36".  I'm really happy with the quality and thought that they went up fairly easily.  If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

On a side note - I apologize for the poor lighting.  A lighting update is next on my list!!

-Tim

Very nice. Easy to "hang" it?

Thank you!!

I thought hanging it was fairly simple and I hung it myself.  I took my time putting it up with painter tape (around edges) first.  Then rolled it back and started gluing on about 12-14" at a time....working out air bubbles right along.  I had ZERO issues hanging it.  Having another person to help would make the process even easier.

Looks great and you did a great job hanging it.

Has Backdrop Warehouse updated their horrible website and / or made it easier to order?  Do they actually talk to customers now?

HI George,

The website took a while to get through to find what I needed!!  However, I had a very good experience when I called to place my order.  They were in the process of moving their business from Arizona to Colorado...so there was a 2 week lag but it was completely acceptable given the circumstances.  I am very happy with the quality of the backdrop.

Thanks for the picture.  It looks great and you did a fantastic job of hanging it!  Too many layouts don't have backdrops.  It's funny because backdrops are seldom written about (Yes I did Mark, in my book :-)) or used on layouts, but make ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.

Reminds my of sound in engines.  When I heard my first engine with sound, that was it.  I would never have another engine without sound because SOMETHING IS MISSING.

With a backdrop, SOMETHING IS MISSING.

I'm very glad your experience was positive (more than I can say for mine).
