They seem to have one every winter.  As POTRZBE said it is hit and miss as all train shows are.  I have gone and walked away with some great deals at some of their shows and walked away having purchased nothing at others.  The museum itself is great!! Lots of locomotives and rolling stock.  After all it is the birthplace of American railroading.    Check out the B&O Railroad Museum website to see if the show is actually on.

The model train show is still on schedule for this Saturday, Jan 23 from 10 AM - 8PM.  Admission is $10, B&O members FREE.

As thanks to all the rail fans, hobbyists, and modelers who've supported us throughout the past year, we're bringing back the Model Train Sale for a January blowout! Enter our spacious, historic Roundhouse to shop a selection of premium O and N-Gauge model railroad trains, tracks, and accessories - all at 30% off retail value and now at an additional 15% off! And, purchase tickets on-site for a special evening train ride at 6 PM! Net proceeds benefit the B&O Railroad Museum.

Thanks to all who responded.   I was there last weekend and noticed the flyer about the sale.  I thought it interesting that they were selling O-gauge items, yet as far as I could see they didn't have a layout setup in O-gauge.  Maybe I missed it (there are a number of buildings).  I also want to echo the sentiments expressed here about what a great place this museum is.  If you are ever near Baltimore, this is one not to miss!
