Bars on PCC windows

In the past I asked about bars on PCC' s. I found: (1) some had bars on both sides on the outside (2) some had bars on both sides on the inside (3) Some had no bars (Windows were sealed) (4) some had inside bars only on the left (5) Some had bars only on the outside on the left. Photos of the curious asymetrical bar set up are in the book "History of the St. Louis Car Company."
