Do I need a adaptor plug or should the MTH Wifi Unit plug into my TIU in one of the slots shown below? Thanks for the help.

The Wi-Fi plugs into the serial port on the TIU. You will need a USB to serial cable. Less than $10 on Amazon.
You have an older TIU Paul. I’m not sure but I believe the answer is In Barry’s book. The newer ones look like this.

John - the TIU is ancient but just got a tune up from Gunrunner John, along with the handheld. Funny enough (actually not funny when it was driving me crazy) the second TIU I have has crapped out and will be on the way to John for updating if possible.
John - what are those plugs you are using going into the TIU channels?

Those are banana plugs. They are used in a lot of audio applications. You can get a nice tight wire conection on the plug and just plug it into the TIU. Much easier than wrapping the wire around the post and tightening the nut. They also make it easier to disconnect the TIU. You can get them as single plugs or a double plug well well as multiple styles. The double plug works well on the TIU as well as the Z4000.
