Yesterday put in about 10 BCR's to various engines but the only one I could not figure out was my RK Erie Triplex. Anyone ever put a BCR into one of these?

Thanks John, but mine just has 2 MTH batteries not wrapped (like the ones pictured above) and the wires going out from the battery holder join in with another set of wires. I just can't find what to plug the bcr into. I will try to take pictures tonight when I get home. Its just not like all the rest that I have done.
Bryan, the picture GUNRUNNER JOHN shows the battery could possibly be sitting on the wirng. All the PS-! engines I have put BCR's into had a snap on connector...............Paul
I make mine to plug directly into the PS/2 top board, eliminates any confusion with the wiring. Pull the plug out of the board, plug in the cap plug. The rest of the battery harness ends up connected to nothing.

Thanks, I will try that this evening when I get home. It was just strange because all the rest where very simple and straightforward.
Sorry to bother you again but still having an issue with hooking up this bcr. I found what you showed in the picture above but it looks like that has Male points and the bcr is also male... nothing to stick the points into. Here is what I am seeing.

That's why I put the matching PS/2 connector on my supercap battery replacements.
So what I have isn't going to work?
Is that all you need for the 3v batt replacement is that cap and a connector pigtail?
I guess, where could I find something like that.

Yes, that's it.
Thanks John
If you uses a supercap like GRJ's, you could solder its leads (duly insulated) directly to the contacts for the batteries. It would fit in the holder.
Yuck! I prefer using a connector!
I also, but sometimes one goes less than optimal to KISS.
