It's been a while since I posted for help with a train set given to me by a friend. I did get the locomotive repaired, for the princely sum of $36, lol. She whizzes about so fast now, I'm scared she'll jump the track!

In between then and now, my husband got a new job, and we moved to Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. We now have a garage, and a nice shed, as well, so I'm moving forward with mounting the track on a plywood base.

Being of a crafty nature, I figured out how to make a village from empty boxes and cartons. Since I babysit two of the cutest little girls ever, I"m going to put them to work on a Halloween village. No pix yet, but when I get them, I'll post them!

CuylerGal, I can"t wait to see your Halloween Village. That's a great idea to get the kids excited. Arnold
