UPDATED: 08/22/2019

Its finally here, the BEMC & RCDR Wiring Diagrams!

For those who do not know, The BEMC is another version of LEGACY electronics that are used in some O scale applications currently, such as the LEGACY LionMaster Class A and Tethered 0-8-0  and Heisler.  But mainly found in the latest American Flyer LEGACY equipped models. Also included are diagrams for the RCDR board. More info in the guide.

These diagrams have a lot of little notes and information that you might find interesting.

Once again like the RCMC "Guide" this is available for you to download. This is valuable information for this generation of LEGACY electronics that you should add with the RCMC Guide.

Download the PDF file down below in the "Attachments" now!

Bruk, again thank you for all your hard work on these boards.    I am sure many will download this section to go with others.

Bruk, words can not convey my appreciation for your efforts here, these documents are GREAT!  You can bet I download them as soon as I see them, it's so key to have some documentation when you dig into these things!

You have certainly earned this several times over!

I believe the Legacy Heisler also has the BEMC.  I thank you for this and will download it to have in case I ever need to do something with my Heisler or Class A.

If you have the RCMC Guide, download this as well.... Unless you don't want more info on Lionel's LEGACY electronics

Those of us doing repairs professionally appreciate these since Lionel hasn't provided any new information in like 8+ years.

Thanks Bruk.

Bruk,

I dowloaded your BEMC and RCDR wiring and was wondering if you ever got the wiring diagrams for the RCDR V1?

Thanks,

An update to you all who have downloaded this or seeing this for the first time.

I will be posting a newly updated version of these diagrams soon, I've had a lot of one and one time with these boards recently. I've learned a few new things about them so naturally I had to make a couple corrections to the drawings and the general notes.

Would you happen to know if the Legacy PRR 0-6-0, that is tethered as well, would qualify with this diagram? Thanks

If you are talking about the Legacy B6-the answer is no, that loco has the RCMC board, I have that documention on a seperate thread here on OGR .

Thanks Bruk Bannister for all your hard work and diagram's. always appreciate your detail and warnings about color code wires may not be correct!

Sincerely thanks

Alan

I have to agree; although I'm not into that "style" of model railroading, I can imagine this is a real treasure trove for those who are...which is more than likely most of you!

I await the release eagerly, they have been a big help to me, and I really appreciate all the work you put into these!

Is the previously mentioned B6 documentation available with these new updates as well?

If I’m not mistakened, the Legacy PRR B6 0-6-0 that came out a couple years ago was equipped with an RCMC command board not a BEMC. So it has the Flyweel with Odyssey Encoder. In the last update (Jan 2017 revision) Diagram 2 shows the wiring for a teathered engine. BEMC was only used in the recent teahthered 0-8-0.

The B6 does indeed have the RCMC, I thought I read above that there was a different document, obviously just reading comprehension on my part.   I looked in that document again and sure enough!

Thanks, I have that now downloaded as well. Excellent work!!!

Be on the look out for the updated version of this in the coming weeks.

I am on the lookout for it Bruk, and I await it eagerly!   There's so little modern Legacy information for service that this is a breath of fresh air!

BRUK, Awesome work!  I designed these boards(and the RCMC), so if you have questions I may be able to remember the connections and answer them if not proprietary in nature, although I don't have access to the design files any longer.   Just email me.  BTW: The "CR" pin on the BEMC switches is VPP (your label is PRG on the RCDR), and used in programming the board(s).

Its HERE! I finally made time to review and publish yet another updated Version of BEMC/RSLite diagrams! If you want the latest please download by clicking on the Attachment link!

Hi Bruk,

Really appreciate you taking the time to do all this work and I am sure many of us will refer to your diagrams. However I did not get the attachment to download the files so can you please send them again or to my email address cusomercare@goldinhands.com.

Thanks,

There must be two threads here with the same info.  As I said in the other thread, the revised "attachment" replaced the earlier attachment in the very first post.  Just download from there.

Thanks,

There are two threads.  I tried to email my copy to Ed, but the email bounced, don't know what that was about.  Sorry Ed, something wrong with that email address.
