Re: Best DCC decoder for large o scale steamer

Hello,

I'm planning on converting a large Lionel steamer to 2 rail, (the Santa Fe 2-10-10-2 mallet) and I'm wondering about the best decoder to use. I'm looking for recommendations since I'm new to DCC.

The sunset engines I have all come with qsi Titan and I have a bunch more on preorder with them and was picking up the quantum programmer. should I stick with qsi Titan, I know they are kinda older technology?

or should I go with a different Brand? I know mth PS3 boards are DCC capable. Are they any good?
