I think Millhouse has a 32" model. that's the one you need. I don't think it would be a great idea to leave any turntable out where rain, snow, or who knows what else might get at it. They are usually mostly wood construction. Nice layout by the way!

Turntables are delicate pieces of machinery. If you really want to keep it outside in the elements( NOT recommend) I would second the millhouse because the pit is made out of aluminum I believe ( need to O verify with millhouse studios) however I am not sure its drive system could take the great outdoors.

I don't think any of them will last long outdoors. The only one I am aware of that is all aluminum is AAA but the motors are above the pit floor like the prototype and would be under water after the first rain storm. Millhouse has a metal pit wall but wood floor.

Definitely, Millhouse River TT, based on references on this Forum. I know he makes one for a 34" locomotive.  Call them on the exterior installation.

Millhouse is bar none the best turntable on the market.

Great Layout.  You might find a way to protect the turntable when it is not in use by using the lid of a round Weber BBQ or metal garbage can.  The trick would be to find a way to seal the edges.  I think this may work if you can keep the direct rain and snow off the turntable.  Also, painting every surface that might get wet would also help.

Ive got the Millhouse River 34inch turntable and it holds all the big dog steamers however it uses a wood gear underneath. Maybe you could get Al to make you a plastic one

Sterling, Nice layout. Thank you everyone for the great recommendations! We do make tables from 24" to 34" and sizes in between in 2" increments. Although our table is made out of welded aluminum, we still have a couple pieces, like the step ring in the pit that the track attaches to and the drive pulley below and a couple of inserts inside the bridge that are wood that I would be concerned with getting wet. We could probably come up with an alternative in plastic but you still have an electric motor and electronics that control the table that you still can't get wet.  If you want to discuss further please give me a call at the office. Nice MikeCT - That was fun to watch.  I have built and installed one of Al's turntables.  I would recommend them.  I think he has indexed ones now.  I set it up to run with a Cab2 with an ERR aboard.  Good stuff.

For a 3-rail Big Boy, you need at least 33" for the wheels to clear (and ease of positioning). Millhouse has a 34" and Ross has a 33". Neither would survive being permanently outdoors so a removable engine facility would be a good idea if you can pull it off with your track elevation.
