Hi Forumites,

I received an e-mail from Mike Motler, the Editor of the LCCA's fine publication "The Lion Roars," to inform me that Mike will end his tenure as editor owing to health issues and throttle back his activity in our great hobby. I want to thank Mike for doing a wonderful job as editor of The Lion Roars. Each issue has been professionally done and contained fascinating photos and articles of wonderful train items and related activities. Whether you are an LCCA devotee, Mike's contribution to our hobby has been enormous and wonderful. It is not possible to count the hours he devoted to the LCCA and The Lion Roars.

I wish Mike well and Ginny and I send our thoughts and prayers to Mike and his family. A toot of the whistles on the Munoz Lines to Mike.

I spoke with Mike Mottler the other day.  He is doing well and making progress in eliminating some stresses in his life per DR's orders.  We can't thank Mike enough for his contributions and years of service for the LCCA.   Thank you  Mike!  Mike has been thinking about his successor for some time now.  The club has a team in place to continue our club publications with the outstanding quality and standards Mike M has established and our members have come to expect.

Stay at well Mike!
