In the past, members of this board have been very helpful to me in repairing a Lionel triple action crane with the clamp loader attachment. I’ve recently opened the box on a TMCC triple action crane with the magnet and ability to move on the rails. I am finding that while the motors react to the controls, nothing happens. In my previous unit repair, I removed the cab and then removed the four screws holding the platform to the frame, I am still unable to access the motors and take apart the gear boxes to clean out the hardened grease because the wires have little to no slack to them. I can just about lift out the crane base but that’s about as far as I can go without damaging some connection. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ditto for any drawings or instructions regarding this version of the crane. Thanks, as always.

Thank you so very much for your reply and for digging up the documents. I’m going to save them for reference. Unfortunately, the earlier versions were wired with a lot more slack in the wiring, allowing for relatively easy access to the gear boxes without damaging the wiring.  This new version does not.
if anyone has taken apart and repaired this crane, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks,

Rubin
