The Brass Scrapbook Vol. 1 Issue 1

I am going to produce a series of posts called "Brass Scrapbook". I do a lot of commercial photography for the various importers; and as you might think HO has a large following in the high end brass circles. Just 10% of these models in O would be a dream.

All of these photos are mine and copyrighted by the various importers I work with. (C) Erik C Lindgren

I might even put some graphics in the coming posts. I hope you like it.

Thanks Eric. Fine photos. I am long out of touch with HO brass imports.

I thought the Berks the the SP acquired from the B&M were classed B1.

Do you or any other SP guys know why this is marked T1? T class were 10 wheelers, no?

I have an earlier one with the whaleback tender. Its one of my favorites, not for its handsome looks, they are pretty homely but for all the plumbing and detail.

Still, if they shipped with T-1 lettering they were in fact Class B-1 on the SP.

Incredible! The photos are great. Me, I can barely touch one of my MTH Premier diesels without bending the handrails. I'd have to hire someone else to handle those HO jewels!

Looked through twice. It is not clear to me - are these HO? I am gueassing so, since the thread is in hongz. If so, you know that Sunset made some really nice B1 Berks and associated in 1/4" scale, as did K-Line for the tinplate crowd. And don't tempt me; I have two with whaleback tenders. I suppose their photos cannot appear here.
