This is very sad and upsetting news. Jim and I go back quite a few years with the beginning of his business and some of his first products. He will be missed by everyone. I will have more to say this coming weekend and/or next week. Can't hardly talk right now.....
Jim helped me with my elevated tracks. Great individual and worked with his customers until they were completely happy with the results. I always stopped to talk with him at York.

Sad news. Didn’t know him well but bought some of his elevated subway trestle products a few years ago and spoke to him on the phone . He was very pleasant and helpful at the time. He had developed an incredibly realistic elevated trestle system and I really admired his craftsmanship. It was truly an art form. Hopefully there is a family member who can continue to create and sell what he developed.

I did read the message on the home page. Jim's work will become a legacy product. You cannot take it apart after installation. We will always have a gift from Jim that makes our layout unique, interesting, and beautiful. I am so grateful I met and worked with Jim.

So sorry to hear about Jim. Tragic loss. I bought an elevated Bridgeboss subway layout from someone on the forum last year. Restoring it will be a labor of love.

Sorry to hear this. Jim helped me tremendously not only with the bridges and station he built for me, but with my layout in general. I wonderful, kind, man who will be missed! Prayers to his family.
Seems he loved building and had vision, Also loved railroads and railroading, for a long time his work will be remembered and exist.

I'm terribly saddened by this news. I had no idea Jim was that sick. Jim was a friend of mine and we shared a booth at York a couple of times and did business together. I used his trestle system on my layout. I always enjoyed his company and conversation. We of course talked about trains but also Corvettes and wrestling and a variety of other things we had in common.
Jim will be missed. My condolences go out to his family.
