The fifth release of Todd Architectural Models & Layouts’ CityScape series of structures, CS-05, will be Brownstones 1. Brownstones 1 are designed to have the parlor entrance level a half-flight up from street level. There will be five different unit types to choose from. Three of the unit types will be all large block stone and will have two variations, door on the left or door on the right. Two of the unit types will have the door in the middle and have a variation of either all large block or large block through the parlor level and brick above.

In addition to the ten possible combinations of facades, Brownstones 1 will be available in 3-story (10-7/8” tall), 4-story (13-1/8” tall) and 5-story (16-3/8” tall) heights.
Brownstones 1 will be available in three different large block stone color schemes: Hot Spring Stone (light gray) with blue windows, Glory (medium brown) with brown windows and Whitetail (darker brown/gray) with near-black windows. Brick coloring will complement the large block stone. Details will include decorative cornices, cast stairs with laser cut decorative handrails, decorative window headers and sills, and yard fence.
There are 10 different units x 3 heights x 3 color schemes = 60 variations. We will take orders for unit types, heights and color schemes in any configuration during the month of January. Please contact us directly to discuss your interests.
Per usual, shadowboxes will have individual floors and ceilings with the provision for installation of 5050 LED lighting. Our flat fee for installing lighting in a shadowbox is $7.00 (for the slotted styrene tube that conceals the wires) plus $3.00 per LED (with 36" wire lead). You will be able to specify clear or translucent glazing.
Combination magnetic and metal strip is available to secure the shadowbox(es) to the train table surface. The price is $2.00 per foot. The magnetic and metal strip are 1” wide, cut easily with scissors, and are both peal and stick application.
The pricing schedule for Brownstones 1 is given below. To entice preorders, we offer 15% off of the total order, paid in full, for the first ten purchasers of two or more units. No other discounts are anticipated once this model goes into production. Preorders will be accepted by telephone only with payment processed through PayPal invoice or check.
The Brownstones 1 shadowbox series will be available to ship on or before April 1, 2019, for orders placed no later than January 31, 2019. USPS Priority Service shipping is additional and will be invoiced as the exact cost. Orders may also be picked up from our booth in the Orange Hall at the TCA Train Meet in April.
