C & N W depots in South Dakota

Just about any depots along the Rapid City Pierre and Eastern, is of C&NW heritage.  This line is the old "Cowboy Line" of the Northwestern's.   A few are at, Brookings, Huron, Pierre, and others.    There some depots still standing, and in use in Minnesota as well, on the CP, ex DM&E line.

Deadwood, of course, has lots of western history.  Think l visited it on the trip where l managed to photo a C&NW station, that looked like it had just been abandoned,  , on a branch that had just been abandoned, in northern Iowa. Used to find lots of stations in 1970's, shoulda been more systematic in photoing them, as many in towns l used drive through,  slipped away.  Didn't the C&NW have some of those prairie two stories stations where the agent and family lived upstairs?  On my list, to build a model... Yes, in my home town, there was a two story station.  The Agent and his family lived upstairs in the late 1950s. Gone now sadly.
