Has anyone taken apart a CAB-1 to clean the contacts? Bad idea or a piece of cake!

Its not easy to do because the two parts of the cab 1 cannot be separated far enough to have good access to the contacts.I have done one using a pencil eraser to clean the contacts and it worked better afterward.Good Luck

Remove the six screws on the back of the cab one, make sure you have a good proper fitting screwdriver as these screws are soft and the heads strip easily. Take note of which screws go where two are a bit longer. Then open the remote, I belive there are 3 more small screws holing the contol board against the keypad,remove these and gently pull the board away from the keypad.
