Can you use a 180 Watt PH to power accessories and lights?

No modification necessary, they put out 18 volts. I'm pretty sure some accessories like to run on lower voltages, so the accessory mix will be a factor here.

Yes you can. The middle wire is the hot. You can also buy the Molex connectors from Mouser and others and make an adapter to use so you don't have to cut the ends off. That way they are easily swapped out and will retain there value.

Not cutting off the connector would be my choice. Of course, I have a stock of the proper Molex connectors, so it makes that decision easy for me.

I concur with the others who said to get the molex.

It's a .093 three position. I picked up a pack of male and female plugs at a local electronic shop. As was mentioned, you can also order online from Mouser and other places.

It makes connecting and disconnectiong my Powerhouses from the layout very simple.
