I took my family to see the annual holiday train layout at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Cincinnati Union terminal.  This display dates back to 1946 and was displayed each year at the Cincinnati Gas & Electric’s headquarters’ lobby in downtown until it was moved in recent years to the museum center following the Duke Energy acquisition.  Generations of families have enjoyed the trains. Been seeing these trains myself 50+ years.  This year they had a running display of a 1904 Carlisle & Finch train.  I took a short video for anyone that may be interested.  They do not run it constantly because of it’s age but they will run it if you ask. Carlisle & Finch is a Cincinnati based company. They no longer make trains but produce marine searchlights.

Furthermore, for anyone in the area,  the permanent train exhibit upstairs on the concourse level  is still undergoing a major renovation so all of it was not open.  The building recently went under a major renovation to improve the infrastructure given the building is about 75 years old.
