Its June and time to enjoy the great outdoors, so lets look at all those great accessories that surround your layout.  I will share three.  The first is the simple Lionel water tower.  No layout can be without!!

The second is a closeup of my 156 platform station.  Always love the different billboard ads along the fence.

Finally is my wish list item, which is a 916 tunnel.  I first need to make room for it on my layout, but if I can figure that out, then that's my next purchase.

Here are some modern era Standard Gauge accessories which will make their train show debut at Milwaukee's Trainfest this coming November.  Of course, this assumes that SGMA's participation in that show will be approved.  The first is a custom-made all metal factory building I purchased at York, which with the addition of some custom-printed refrigerator magnets I added is now Milwaukee's famous Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company.  Thanks to MTH's 200 series Schlitz Beer reefers, this brewery will now become the key accessory on a SGMA module simulating the Milwaukee Road's famous "Beer Line".  The others tinplate accessories are some Standard Gauge size metal farm/ranch structures, which include: a tinplate "Little John" barn, an assembled galvanized metal windmill kit, and some "My L'ttle Ranchhand" cast iron fence panels.  These, along with some lead Britains cows, a Kovap tinplate John Deere farm tractor, and a 1930's Girard pressed steel milk truck, will be assembled into an exciting tinplate farm/ranch module, which I thought would be appropriate for the Wisconsin-based train show.
