Attention dealers: I know I would love that Central Maine and Quebec AC4400 and I know a few others here on OGR that said they would buy one or two.  We could piggy back off the nearly identical ES44 tooling that is coming out in the catalog.  It also dovetails with the strong Canadian Railroad theme in the catalog.  Train painter Christine Braden actually painted a Lionel GE demonstrator as a Central Maine and Quebec #1006 for me and she did an awesome job... I would be happy to offer that model as a design guide for a custom run. Looking for a dealer(s) as a sponsor.

The light grey and powder blue paint scheme is really sharp and the moose head logo is unique and fun.  I will personally commit to purchasing two of these locomotives myself if we do it. It will sell based on its good looks!a88aaeaa277dbed7ec7af49a2fafb5b2CentralMaineAndQuebecRailwayLogo

Great color scheme, but I think Lionel would absolutely botch the colors

I think MTH still has the AC4400 premier tooling. Your best bet is to see if a dealer would do an MTH premier special run.

I am willing to go with an MTH version of this locomotive as an AC4400. I will buy two. The CMQ had two road numbers for the AC4400, 1001 and 1006.

So are there any dealers out there that would sponsor this great looking locomotive produced as an MTH special run?

MTH is definitely your best path to executing this model correctly

Try emailing Muffins trains, Beth from Public delivery track, or Pats trains.

Maybe there is a train store in Canada? George's trains in Ontario?

I am a big collector of Canadian roadnames, but I don't have the budget this year to buy one of these

Is there a way of inviting Muffins trains, Beth from Public delivery track, and Pats trains to this thread?  I am George's Train email list. It doesn't look like they have much of a O gauge presence although they are technically a Lionel and MTH dealer.

Very easy to do so! Just @ them like this:

@Beth Marshall-The Public Delivery Track

@PATSTRAINS

@MrMuffin'sTrains

Hopefully someone can help because this is a very nice paint scheme
