Many early manufacturers made windup locomotives in O gauge. Were there any made in the larger scales like 1 gauge, 2 gauge or standard/wide gauge?

Both Bing and Märklin made clockwork locos as large as 3" gauge before WW1, But just to confuse everyone, Bing called it gauge 4, and Märklin gauge 3. A friend of mine has a gauge 4 Bing 0-4-0 and tender, it comes with a crank handle to wind it.
Here is a Märklin and a Bing gauge 1 clockwork train in my garden:

Thank you for the info.
Very nice trains Fred.
Surprised at how far they traveled, thought the larger size would limit travel distance.

Most 0 gauge or 1 gauge clockwork locomotives run about 40 meter (on my layout). Some beter ones do 50 meter.
