I use coffee grounds as mulch around a house. I first allowed it to air dry in my workshop for about a week. I also use real dirt as dirt in many places. Don't crumble it up into a fine dust, the small pieces add texture at a constuction site. I have a small toaster oven (garage sale find) that I keep in my workshop for this and many other purposes.
