Collector's Gallery was conceived and produced for the magazine "O" Gauge Railroading for two years beginning in the spring of 1989. Subsequently I wrote a book titled Collector's Gallery Volume 1. While some of the material was similar to the column a lot of new material was presented in the book. At that time a Volume 2 was promised on the back page of Volume 1. It was never printed, however I recently discovered the complete manuscript of Volume 2. While there are no photographs the writing is interesting and tells the story of Lionel in the 1980 and 1990's.
