Guys,

I am sure you know that the NY Giants are going to the Super Bowl again! And the Patriots are too! Let's show our support with football related trains! What is amazing is that both QB's haven't changed, which will make for much rivalry and drama behind the scenes, I think!

All of New York has been waiting along time for this one!

Go Big Blue! Good luck Patriots fans! We "all in" for a wild ride!

The only things I remember much about football in New York was Joe Namath and before that watching the Giants on TV as a kid. And I actually remember Charlie Conerly and Sam Huff. We'd watch a game and then we neighborhood kids would go try to act it out in the backyard.

But, good luck whichever team's your favorite.

As for combining trains and football...let's see. The closest I can come to that is, the Liberty Bowl stadium is just north by a few hundred yards of Norfolk-Southern's Forrest Yard and you get to hear no end of train action while watching games. In fact, if you're bored with the game you can climb to the top of the stadium seats and look down on the railroad at work. Sometimes it's more interesting...

..I saw the "Bear" coach his last game there..

Note my signature!! They also cancelled the SB XXV car Frown
Also if anyone has the Giants box car 30-74310, I'd trade you a 30-76210 Giants flat car w trailer, or pay you for it.
I have all the other cars. The trolley runs above the entertainment center and I have the N scale Super Bowl express running with the 2 N scale Giants cars I've found.

They only make what they think will sell. MTH has no trouble selling Steeler-branded trains so they keep making more and win or lose us "Stiller" fans keep buying them!

I have nothing against the Steelers. I just think MTH is wrong. Giants stuff would sell as much as Steelers. Def more than any other NFC East team
I've been a Redskins fan since 1965 but I don't want them associated with my trains. It's no secret that if a football game only lasted 30 minutes the Redskins would be unstoppable but it seems like at halftime they give up sit down on the bench and eat a happy meal.

I want my trains to be able to run longer than 30 minutes at a time.

This year I wish they played that way against the Giants
It would be fairly easy to design a Cleveland Browns' train. Critical features would include:

1. Crew Talk with the conductor announcing "wait 'til next year."

2. The engine would run in circles and then go off the tracks. A new coach would be given 2 years to put the train back on the tracks and then be fired.

3. Electrocoupler attempts to pass and receive a piece of rolling stock would be dropped (like a dropped pass)

4. Like post-war model railroads, owners would lament how much better the Browns engine was in the 1950s.
