Is there any difference between Lionel products 6-16830 or 6-81949? Or is this just a change in the product name and number?

I have some of both and the older 6-16830 may have the older TRC3 board in it. The newer 6-81949 most likely have the newer TRC4 board in it. I don't know the differences in those boards myself, perhaps other posters can enlighten us. Other than that there is no difference that I'm aware of other than the part number and slight name change.
