Congratulations to Mike & Tom Roder of Gargraves Trackage Corporation for 75 years of business and a very nice article in the recent OGR magazine!  Our club The Central New York Chapter, National Railway Historical Society dedicated our modular layout to the memory of Don Roder.  Here are a couple of photographs of the occasion on Sunday, November 8, 2015 morning before the 41st Annual Great New York State Model Train Fair opened for the second day to the public.

Gargraves has been a reliable, tried-and-true product over the years with absolutely ZERO availability issues whenever I've needed any.  Sometimes ya just don't need to mess with success.  And Gargraves track is one of them.  I recently decided to move full steam ahead with Gargraves O and Standard Gauge track for my next layout.  Won't have a huge need for turnouts, but they'll be sourced from Ross in both gauges.  Gargraves track with Ross turnouts make an unbeatable combo in my book!

I hope the inconsistent availability of other brands has only increased the ranks of GarGraves users.  I'm a recent convert because I wanted to build a highrail layout NOW.  If the need ever arose due to local shortage, I could drive to and back from the source in a day.

Thanks for being there, GarGraves!  Here's to many more years of success!

It's not the availability issue for me as is the quality of the switches. I went to Gargraves because my Williams engines were killing my Lionel O gauge switches(#6-23010 & 23011). I like the Gargraves switches for better operation of almost all brands of engines and lower profile then Lionel. Since then I have gone to almost 50% of my track being Gargraves track.

Phil, thanks for bringing this 75th anniversary for Gargraves Trackage Corp to our attention. And nice idea to present the cake at the Great NY State Model Train Fair.

Mike and Tom, congratulations on this achievement - I am a long time user and supporter of your track products.  Keep up the great work.
