Could not post, lost a buying opportunity

Could you have signed out and then signed back in again? That might have helped.

The whole discussion about not replying to for sale threads said that the seller should have contact information in their profile. That was one of the main points.

If you read the rules governing the For Sale Forum, they clearly state that you are not supposed to reply IN THE THREAD! You are supposed to contact the seller via email. If the seller has no email address in his profile, then you are BOTH out of luck.

It has been stated here over and over again that if you are going to sell on the For Sale Forum, you must have an email in your profile. If a seller doesn’t do that, he’s not going to hear from anyone wanting to buy.

Rich,  I wrote asking a question earlier not on the FS board and my message was delayed for approval. What was that all about please?

Is it possible to set the software up so if no email address then no for sale - trade - wanted posts allowed?

Missed out on a few items my self by having to do email chases, no big deal, not the end of the world.

Maybe people could just read and follow the rules / terms of service.

Occasionally, I've gotten the moderated post message for no apparent reason, not sure what causes it.

I have to sing with the chorus as far as profile email, if you expect to receive email, you probably need to supply an address.

I'll take the hit for posting that I wanted them; fell back on old habits from years on this forum.  I guess I should have sat back and waited for him to realize he was not getting any responses because he did not have an email address in his profile.  Unfortunately another member also forgot about the rule but was able to post and got the DVDs at a much lower price than new.  Oh well, it is done.  Let's close this out.
