I wish you luck. They can be hard to find.

I know of

- Weaver Little Joe, brass

- MTH Little Joe, PS2

- MTH Little Joe, PS3

-  Weaver boxcar, PS1, I think

- Weaver caboose

- K-Line interurban pair, 18"

- K-Line coil car

- MTH five car Madison set

- MTH two car Madison set

- MTH two car Madision set, different than the above.

There may be a K-Line interurban 15" set. There may have been a Weaver GP38 (???).

Mr. Muffins trains has both of the two MTH car sets for sale last time I checked.

I have the K-Line interurban 18", and I "had issues", a long story. To sum it up, I think the couplers were assembled incorrectly and would short against the center rail, but when correctly assembled, were fine. They show up on eBay often, and so do a pair of shells, of which I bought. I have the coil car, it has delicate parts, and I think I already broke something off it.

Edit

Only one of the South Shore two-car sets are left at Mr. Muffins, at it is on sale...

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies! I do have two of the Little Joe’s and the 5 car Madison set, as well as one box car. It’s the GP38’s I’m looking for, and any bother freight rolling stock.

Tom

A quickie Google produced the following: Weaver U7583L

O, Gauging from the fact that there was only one hit, I'm guessing that they're scarce as hens teeth.

Good luck!                          c8cfe535c1e5ca87d74f6a637f730071

The poster artist and the designer of the CSS&SB GP38 paint scheme is Mitchell A. (Mitch) Markovitz.  Mitch worked for several railroads, including the South Shore, was the prime mover behind revived interest in the South Shore posters of old and created an entirely new series of posters, now spanning several decades, featuring the South Shore and NW Indiana, using the South Shore Line format.

If you can't find the posters you want on the web, give Mitch a call, he lives in Knox, IN.
