I would appreciate if someone with a culvert loader and unloader would check the extension out of the car position sensor / receiver on the building housing. On my culvert loader, the "bulb" extends out and occasionally bumps a loco. On the unloader it is recessed. Is this the way it is supposed to be or is this a manufacturing defect I can correct- I don't want to break the thing! Thanks for any feedback- pictures of the two situations are below

Yea, the first "re-issue" of the loader has those annoying sensor lenses that stick out.
Idk if they fixed that with the "command-control" ones or not....
Ok, I wondered. Maybe the idea would be to cut 1/8 inch off the rail ties and shift the rail out- probably will need to bend down the forks too so I can shift the rail. Luckily I have a straight 40inch piece so I could screw it down on each end to keep it in place
I put mine on a siding so that loco's wouldn't have to go through it, just back the gondola into it.
That is a good idea too, I'll check to see if I have enough length. Thanks.
