I am looking for custom made decals, which would be used to cover existing road names on a few Lionel and MTH steam tenders. Names could be Polar Railroad, Polar Express, or some such fantasy name as I come up with (but first I need to find someone with the right printer or whatever it takes). I would also need black decals/labels to cover the existing road names. As such, this would not be a permanent job, rather decals that would either be dry transfer variety (where you dip them in water prior to applying) or decals with peel-back self adhesive.
Note: I tried Microscale - they only make large batches for special orders like this, and I only need maybe 6 (3 for each side of a tender = 6) plus 6 black coverups.
On another thread a person suggested contacting a hobby shop. Well, I've contacted three shops and none can do this type of work. I wouldn't think its terribly complex but I really don't know, and so I am asking here.
