Hey all just wondering if anyone knew of a good custom repaint and relettering service as I'll be having a few things repainted/relettered in the near future. I know I could probably google it but I like to hear from people who have experience with custom repainters. I want to make sure it gets done right as I'm not about to pay $125 for a baggage car then have the repaint look like crap. Same thing goes if I ever manage to hunt down one of Sunset's expensive (but awesome) Santa Fe Hi-Level lounges, I would hate for a Pacific Parlour car repaint to come out poorly as they are cool-looking cars.

Links are very helpful and if the person you use does not have a website but does an amazing job, I would love to have whatever contact info you can give me.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he does custom schemes and simply does badass restorations of pre and postwar stuff. I'm looking for someone who will do anything. The repaint I'm looking to do is repainting an MTH 19" Amtrak Baggage car into Amtrak Phase IVb. I don't think Len does that. I do still appreciate the reply though. I'll probably use him in the future as one of my postwar turbines (671) is in desperate need of a new paint job.

He may not list it - but you might inquire...

Didn't Len just buy out Elliot Welz's business and equipment?

I know Elliot was known for his Amtrak passenger work...
