Trying searching for this question but can't find an answer anywhere. Can you record and playback custom sounds onto a PS3 engine with the Premium App? I've seen demos on how to do it with the remote, and I know it says you can do everything you can do with the remote with the premium app, but I'm just looking to confirm before I drop an extra $20 into the app since I don't have a remote.

Unfortunately, at present the app lacks that capability. It may be included in a future update.

So I've run through the updates and this doesn't appear to be in the features included in 6.1. Any updates if this will actually be possible to do with the app?
Kind of frustrating that I purposely went the WIU/premium app route instead of the handheld remote route when purchasing my DCS equipment and I'm basically forced to buy the handheld for this one feature.

Nope, the status hasn't changed AFAIK.
